Our Building Process

Getting Started
Our first step at Silver Creek Custom Homes is to meet with you and discuss your ideas and any house plans you may have. Whether you already have a general plan, or you would like us to develop one for you, we will go over this initial information and work with you from there. Our objective in this phase is to ask the right questions and get a clear understanding of your requirements and vision for your new home.

Drafting Your House Plans
After the initial meeting, your input will be used to draft the house plans. This is the foundational process of any build, and is the stage where your house plan is customized to meet your specifications. At Silver Creek Custom Homes we understand that this can be a challenge for anyone who is new to building their own home, and are committed to making the planning process as simple and stress free as possible for you.

Planning for the Build
After the plans are complete, and before the construction of your home begins, we will meet with you to discuss the build. Weʼll go over the house plan in detail and review the particulars of your build with you. This meeting will allow you to ask any further questions you may have, and ensure that all aspects of the completed plan for your home meet your particular specifications.

Construction
We oversee all aspects of the the build to be certain that our standard of quality is met. We also welcome you, the customer, to be part the build to ensure that weʼre meeting your vision. Planned visits will be scheduled for you during construction to tour the house, so you can be confident and satisfied in the quality of our workmanship, and to see that everything is being built in keeping with your needs and preferences.

Possession of Your Custom Home
A representative of Silver Creek Custom Homes will do a walk through of your new custom home before youʼre given the final tour. Every detail of the home will be reviewed for quality control and any improvements required will be noted. Following this, you will be given a comprehensive ʻcustomer walk throughʼ to view and review your beautiful new home, and to see for yourself that uncompromised quality has been delivered.
